Women's Ministries - 2010 Women of Faith Awards
The Women of Faith awards, sponsored by the Racial Ethnic and Women’s Ministries/PW ministry area, are awarded biannually. They recognize women of accomplishment whose Christian faith informs their work. The 2010 theme is “Women with a Peaceful Heart: Guiding Paths of Peace.” Nominations are being sought for women who help the church to grow in its witness and commitment to peacemaking.

At the business meeting PW committed to continue to advocate for children and to partner with the Children's Defense Fund. Check out their web site for helpful information in advocating for children.

Both the Presbyterian Coffee Project and the Sweat-Free T projects are part of the PCUSA Enough for Everyone program. Many of you are familiar with the Coffee project but do you support the Sweat-Free T project? Through Sweat-Free Ts, Presbyterians now have new ways to find non-sweatshop apparel.
